Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Plant capacity: 5,000 population equivalent (p.e.), domestic wastewater. Note that one of two clarifiers is non-operational due to motor failure before trial started.

Choice factors:

Samples are taken from the raw inlet and the final effluent every week, then analyzed in an independent laboratory.

Reports demonstrate that adding NeoBio™ has had an immediate positive effect, boosting the plant's treatment capacity, absorbing surges in influent BOD and keeping the plant effluent quality standard compliant despite a non-working clarifier.

Effluent BOD level is reduced, surges are absorbed by NeoBio™'s microorganism ecosystem.

COD remains stable and Ammoniacal Nitrogen levels drop as NeoBio™'s digestive action transforms Ammoniacal Nitrogen into Nitrate and Methane.

The second part of the trial will begin in September. Blower running time in aerators will be reduced progressively in order to save on electricity costs.
