Based on customer feedback, once a building's walls and rooftop are coated with Planet Supra, the indoors ambient temperature drops by average 5°C during summer months. This means an average 25% cost-saving on electricity consumed by air-conditioning !

The Japanese Standards Association (JSA) defines the average cost-savings to be expected from a reduction in indoors ambient temperature as per the table on the right. It illustrates the cost savings that can be expected for each degree Celsius less in room temperature. The basis for calculations is a 240sqm building with a 2.8kW inverter air-conditioning unit for domestic use. Units without inverter would save even more.

In tropical climates, this is observed all year round as solar radiations heat up buildings even during the rainy season.

Easy and safe application:

- Choose one of the 23 pre-mixed colors (left, click to enlarge)
- Mix with 5% to 10% distilled water depending on climate
- Apply with brush, roller, spray gun, ...

Each layer is dry to touch in 30 to 45 minutes, depending on ambient conditions.
Primer is not needed, waterproofing and rust protection to be applied first if required.

Paint can be mixed with water-based colorants (10% colorant maximum) to obtain more colors.

To reflect heat from building, truck cargo compartment, containers, ...:

• paint 2 coats on outer surface of rooftop, walls.
  
• total thickness: 200 microns only.

To insulate rooms, hot/cold pipes, machines, equipment, ...:

• paint 3 coats minimum directly on surface to be insulated.
  
• total thickness: 300 microns for 3 coats. Insulating effect increases with additional coats.
